The African Medical Foundation (AMF) is a charitable, tax exempt Foundation established in Springfield, Illinois, in the U.S.A.
in 2004. The Foundation was started by a group of health care professionals who were not only concerned about the inequalities in health care around the world, but who also wanted to make a difference.

The African Medical Foundation currently supports the operation of St. Gabriel Hospital in Benin City, Nigeria.
St.Gabriel is a not for profit hospital and clinic which provides needed medical care for the population for a nominal, affordable fee. In addition to money, we accept and ship medical supplies to be used in the care of patients at St. Gabriel Hospital.

In addition to direct medical care, the African Medical Foundation supports preventative care through educational programs, HIV/Aids prevention, medical missions, and polio immunizations.

Our goal is to participate with individuals and organizations both here in America and on the African continent to make medical information and care available to all.
